LOTERÍA DE VIDA
Questions about the future, destinations, and the sense of home – Caught in a dual state of reflection, I find myself alternating between the familiar and the foreign. 'Lotería de Vida' reflects my desire to blend my Mexican heritage with the evolving Parisian culture. Drawing from the symbolism of 'Lotería,' a Mexican card game tradition, I explore a journey of self-discovery, using imagery to express feelings of nostalgia and introspection about my evolving identity. What happens when the game rules change? Will my ever-evolving identity change with them? Will it become a hybrid?
